I defended my PhD at the University of Fribourg in May 2017. Supervised by Gianfranco Soldati, it gives an opinionated guided tour of the non-naturalistic accounts of intentionality. As an undergraduate, I studied philosophy and comparative literature at the Universities of Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Freie Universität Berlin, and Humboldt Universität Berlin.
I am now a post-doc FNS researcher as part of The Aesthetic Mind, a research group in aesthetics based at the Universities of Fribourg and Göttingen, funded by the SNF, the DFG and the DAA.
I am currently working on a series of papers on the nature of fiction and its relation to imagination, a series of papers taken out of my dissertation on the nature of intentionality, and, more recently, a series of paper on smell, taste, and the philosophy of food.
